The FBI shuttered file-sharing web site MegaUpload, The shockwaves of the case appeared to be spreading among rival websites offering lucrative file-sharing. FileSonic, a website providing online data storage, said in a statement on its website that it had halted its file-sharing services.

FileSonic Disables File Sharing After MegaUpload Arrests - An online storage service, FileSonic, has disabled file sharing between users following the takedown of the MegaUpload service for alleged copyright infringement violations. A banner on the front page of its website saying: "All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled.
